UPSC CSE Selection Procedure:
The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) process happening in three stages. The First stage is Prelim Examination (Objective type questions) then second is Mains Examination (Written) and the last one is Interview (Personality Test).

UPSC IAS Interview Test/Personality Test:
This part of the exam comes only after the results of the mains exams are declared. Candidates can give preference to the language in which they may like to be interviewed. UPSC will make arrangement for the translators. The marks fetched in this stage of the exam are combined with the marks obtained in the UPSC mains.
